Golden Crumb Bakery is a small storefront on Bull Street where a mixing bowl, a hand-fed sourdough starter, and a lot of butter turn into the breads, pastries, and celebration cakes our neighbors pick up every week. Everything is mixed, shaped, and baked on site before the doors open.
Each case at Golden Crumb rotates around six kitchen stations, all visible from the counter so you can watch the morning bake come together.

Golden Crumb Bakery started in a rented church kitchen in 2014, when founder Marion Delacroix began selling loaves out of a folding table at the Forsyth Park market on Saturday mornings. The bread sold out within the hour, three weekends in a row, and the storefront on Bull Street followed a year later.
The bakery still runs on the same habits: a levain that gets fed twice a day, flour sourced from Southern mills within a day’s drive, and a cake team that meets every customer in person before a single layer goes in the oven. Nothing here is mass-produced, and the menu changes with what the season hands us.
